Dear beautiful souls,

It took me a couple of sleepless nights to write this, because I struggle a lot lately.
But also wanted to look into the details what we can do to deal with depression and put ourselves on the road to recovery - because maybe someone needs to read this, and maybe I'll be able to help myself this way.

instagram.com/abfashionlights

Cause sometimes you're not strong enough to ask for help, not strong enough to reach out to your friends. And all you wanna do is to be silent, then scream and cry under your blanket for days. I cry a lot lately and I feel that something changed, not emotionally, but physically. There is chronic pain all day, as well as migraine and dizziness. There is no hope, there are no words to help. Being at work, hearing my coworkers, and working with them is a daily struggle for me.
I want to be alone, but at the same time, I'm so afraid of being alone. The future seems dark and cold, without humanity or hope.
I hate myself more than ever, I'm not eating normally, I buy clothes to make myself happy for two seconds. And as soon as I'm home I go to bed and close the curtains. I'm struggling, but I'm not ready to ask for help, and my friends have grown tired of this behavior - and I can relate to them.

instagram.com/abfashionlights

Sad and upsetting events are a part of normal life, so feeling down at times is perfectly okay and necessary to deal with emotions. But if you're feeling hopeless regularly, you could be dealing with depression. People experience depression in different ways. It may affect your daily work, resulting in lower productivity. It can also affect relationships and some chronic health conditions.

Depression drains your energy, hope, and motivation, making it difficult to take the first steps that will help you to feel better. But going for a 10-minute walk or learning a TikTok dance, for example, are things you can do in a second. And it can substantially boost your mood and energy for several hours.

  1. Reach out and stay connected: if possible, do it in person.
  2. Do what you enjoy: be kind to your body and soul, do a facemask, read a book, watch a new series.
  3. Walk, run, swim, go up and down on the stairs, try with a little amount of exercise, you can try a happy dance or a Disney music exercise. It only takes about 15 minutes.
  4. Don't skip meals, boost your vitamin levels - you can try healthy options like teas, vitamin capsules and also can follow a diet which helps fighting depression.
  5. Nature and sunlight are your friends, if you don't want company you can enjoy being outside alone too
  6. Educate yourself about depression to deal with it in a more helpful way
  7. Reward yourself - even for small success
  8. Get up at the same time every morning - avoid sleeping during the day, to help you get back on your normal sleeping schedule
  9. Clean the house, flat, room you're living in
  10. Hug someone - doesn't matter if it's a dog or a person
More tips and also the sources for this post:
Helpguide, Thiswayup, Webmd, Healthline

But please reach out to someone, please don't be like me, get professional help or open up to a close friend or family member. Please don't do this alone.

Dear beautiful souls,

This year is kinda crazy, we are surviving things we've never experienced before. The sun seems also a little bit tired therefore Vitamin-D is definitely more needed. I realized how much happier I'm when the sun is shining and because it's so rare nowadays I'm searching for other small things and details to be happy.

I guess it's not a lie, that in the lookdown months we have all experienced online shopping more frequently than before. We just searched through websites and found the perfect new jeans and dresses to buy and thinking about wearing them when we will have the opportunity to go out again...
But here is an important question:
Did you buy more clothes and products online in the recent months than before?

But why we love to buy things online?
Well, we can shop from the comfort of our home, we are saving a lot of time, money and we protect ourselves from the stress. If you want to buy new clothes online you have many options to choose from. You can search for a specific brand or a retailer or you can browse through credit catalogues.
Each of these methods have advantages and disadvantages. For example usually retailers have really great return policies but are more expensive. Specific brands can have unique pieces but sometimes shipping is also costly. When it comes to catalogues the biggest advantage is that you can make payments weekly, monthly, or on other agreed upon intervals. Also this allows you to buy items that you've only dreamed before.

Catalogue shopping changed a lot in the last decades. I do remember those big, thick kinda books but now there are sites, where you can find all the catalogues you might be searching for, including fashion, electrics, furniture, appliances and so on. As a fashion focused person I can't help myself but look at the women's fashion catalogues, where anyone can find their new favorite pieces.

As I plan to decorate my flat I find myself looking at furnitures and decoration ideas in my spare time. And because it's a bigger investment it's definitely a great thing that you can great really great credit options with this way of shopping.

Did you ever used catalogue shopping as a preferred way of shopping?
Feel free to share your opinion and thoughts in comment section!

Hello beautiful souls,

as the year is ending, - like a lot of you - I also feel like I need to review my year.
It's like almost a tradition for me to check my best nine, so I can see my most memorable moments.
This year was a real roller coaster. Sometimes I felt like I'm at the top of everything and other times I was so depressed I couldn't even leave the house.

I lost someone.

People, that I defined as friends - left me.
My heart was broken two times this year. I have no idea how, but I managed to survive the crying days, the panic attacks - and you.
I was so miserable of a heartbreak, that I couldn't eat for days, I throw up for a whole day and I almost burned down my hair.
I realised the worst thing you can say to someone is that you never want to see them again.
I had the worst migraines. The last one lasted for two days - ended the last day of 2018 (what a strange way to end the year).
Unfortunately from this year I'm unable to take any medicin - I would say you not helped me with that.
I can't learn it, but I try so hard to realise, that it's not my job to save people from themselves or from the bad circumstances.

But oh boy, 2018 gave me so much.

instagram.com/abfashionlights

I got back my passion for writing, reading and traveling.
My short novel was actually published in a physical book.
I've many exhibition and event ideas.
I visited a couple of countries - I traveled alone for the first time.
I started yoga again.
I colored my hair, so I've a little blue and purple in it.
I started to live alone - and I couldn't love it more.
I went to many cultural events, fell in love with the different ways of art again.
Had a difficult love relationship with water again - yeah, still can't swim - but saw the most beautiful sunset at the sea - fell in love with Balaton (lake in Hungary) even more if it's possible - spent a lot of time next to the Danube and went to baths without the bikini body.
Visited concerts, museums, went for a beer to catch up with friends, tried ukulele.
And I had so many really, really happy moments.
I was blushing a lot.
I was smiling a lot - sometimes I couldn't even stop smiling - how much I loved to be happy.

2019 - I have no idea how we will get along but I promise I will try my best.

Hello beautiful souls,

hope you are doing okay.
Today I brought you an unexpected outfit post :D I hope you don't mind if I put here some pictures of me, which were taken after I came back from Croatia. We visited the Plitvice Lakes National Park. Let me say it's really nice, but it was raining all day, so we were soaked to the skin and shaking with cold. At least I did one great photo, hope you like it.

And now back to the ootd. All black, like always. Midi skirt, bib earrings and black leather jackets with white and grey sport shoes.

I wore this outfit visiting the Museum of Fine Arts, where they opened a new hall (they did the reconstruction after more than a decade), the Romanesque Hall - it was free for a couple of days - which is basically really rare in Hungary :D
So here is my face expression to the beauty of architecture.

And finally some geometric games on a black and white pic, because by the museum there are the greatest columns, look at the background I have there.

Take care!

Hey there lovely souls,

my last post was about my November goals, so let's see what happened since that article.

  • Write to do lists - I write lists sometimes
  • Track your spendings - did only for one month, but usually it's about the same amount
  • Don't drink sparkling waters / cola - thinks like that - need to work on that
  • Don't eat junk food or chips - maximum once a week - fine with that!
  • Cook more - healthy food! - on the way
  • Go every week to some cultural events -  theatre, movies, museums, talks - kinda okay with that
  • Don't drink too much alcohol - works okay nowadays
  • Don't run after people - be alone if you need to for this two months - well I suck at this one
  • Go to a yoga/dance/aerobic class - get out from your comfort zone!! - at least exersice at home - Yoga!
  • Draw - failed
  • Write your ideas down - failed
  • Don't let your blog and magazine down - failed
  • And read at least 3 books this month - well less than that, but okay.
instagram.com/abfashionlights

I feel like this list is still an ultimate to do list for me, so hey, still working on these ones!
And I also added some points to this list:
  • Travel more - absolutely on the way, 3 months - 3 countries
  • Be kinder
  • Help people
  • Practice languages, cause you gonna be stupid if you don't
  • Find a new job - trying to fall in love with work again
  • Don't forget this: If we can't grow together, we must grow apart.
Do you have an ultimate to do list? Share your goals!

Hey there beautiful souls

and November is here, I've absolutely no idea where this year gone by, but obviously it won't help me to enjoy life thinking about that.
It's been a long time since I made any lists about my goals, so here I'm trying to be smarter.
The last couple of weeks were though enough so after I put some weight on because of unhealthy habits I tried to cut them off or minimal, so I don't eat as many junk food, crisps, chips ect. like before and not drinking sparkling drinks - just sometimes.
Wanna manage my finance things also, get on weekend getaways - and not stressing about work that much. Old friends are back in my life - and happily they are such positive minds.

instagram.com/abfashionlights

So here are my November goals:

  • Write to do lists
  • Track your spendings
  • Don't drink sparkling waters / cola - thinks like that
  • Don't eat junk food or chips - maximum once a week
  • Cook more - healthy food!
  • Go every week to some cultural events -  theatre, movies, museums, talks
  • Don't drink too much alcohol
  • Don't run after people - be alone if you need to for this two months

  • Draw
  • Write your ideas down
  • Don't let your blog and magazine down
  • And read at least 3 books this month

What are your November goals, share your thoughts and posts about it :)

Hello lovely souls,

you see what did I do writing the title - WATCH your jewelry, sometimes I'm a funny person, but as soon as I need to explain why this title is more than just a fact and it's really a paronomasia, I'm lost.
So let's talk a little bit about jewelry.
What's your last purchased product, a ring, necklace, bracelet?

I bought two earrings lately, and I'm so in love with them. And also a necklace - heart and heart rate are the medals, to remember to love life. And as a woman I can say, I have a lot of accessoires, but you know it's never enough.
I have many stories about them, who gave me that ring, in what time they made me feel special, which one I gave to the man I liked, there is so many ways to outstand... one of them is to put a statement necklace on your neck, or grab a new bracelet...  and honestly why blend when you can bespecial?
So tell me your jewelry stories!

Take care!

After a long time of silence here I am, would like to say, that I'm fresh an new, but that would be a lie.

Life is unexpected, people are coming into your life and they are going out of it as fast as they can. Sometimes a day seems so long and then one year goes bye so fast.
I spent almost a year at my latest workplace and today I said goodbye. Said goodbye to my colleagues and said goodbye to my friends.
And as much as I hate hugging people I was one of them today.
Since I left high school I changed countries, cities so many times that letting go was basically my hobby.
I don't regret my choice, I feel a little fear but happily my heart is filled with joy.
I am freaking thankful that after moving to Hungary these people come into my life even if some of them I'll may never see again, they were my family these months.
They saw me so differently, they saw what they wanted to see, a happy girl - maybe it's a small part of me.
What I've learned? That everyone needs nice notes, that every small gestures is neccesary, that some day a drawed heart can save the world.
Get up, stand tall - shall be my new mantra.
But one thing is sure:
More adventures, more hellos and goodbyes are coming.

Ps.: one of the gifts I received... I told you they saw me differently ;)

Hey beautiful people,

I wanted so badly to write my feelings down after I saw the whole season of 13 Reasons Why, but I'm stuck again, stuck in my head. I started this post already like tausend times and it seems that I can't find the right words.
Even if I write 2 sentences down, I just delete them after a moment of silence.
Words were my friends, I found myself safe in them, I felt secure with them, but now all I can feel is insecurity, the right words are fading away and they seem so far away from me.
Everything seems complex in my head, but in the moment I start to write I'm falling apart.
I thought about this book a lot, I started to think that I have more than 13 people in my life, who made me feel miserable.
Without any hesitation I could say that these people are enough reason to end my life.
But you know what I felt in the end, that this girl was so alone, and she doesn't wanted to die.
And honestly I don't wanna die either.
I have no idea if I will figure out myself/life or not, but one thing is sure I was never brave enough to end my life.

Happy March little bunnies!

Looks like spring is on the way and we will "survive" this winter :))
This month will be full of opportunities I can't wait to share new posts with you.
In the last months I bought some new lipsticks, new colours, new favourites.
Yesterday I planned to buy a new MUA lipstick in some dark colour, but it was out of stock (again), so instead of that I bought one in Poundland. The prize is the same so 1£.
The colour is amazing, I absolutely love it, not the darkest, but dark enough.
The shade is 18, Black cherry! Lovely name :)
It doesn't smell like cherry as other expensive lipsticks. The packaging is very simple, but the important thing is what is inside. The lipstick is not so glossy, but it last for a couple of hours, so you can give a shot to it too :)
Here is the link to the product.
Have you tried Make Up Gallery's lipsticks already?
Which is your favourite shade?

Take care!

Hey lovelies,

tomorrow is February! Time is flying like always.
So before we let January go, let us see how it was.
I'm absolulety thankful for every little nice moment in this month.
How was your first month of 2015?
I can say this year has brought many changes, not just in my hair (I colored it again :D) but in my life too.
Living in London is hard, but to see the city as a tourist is always a good idea, that's why my sister and me had a week when we were just tourists, and I can say it was great :)))
Luckily we had the opportunity to attend the MTV Brand New, and not just one, but two nights.
This two nights were incredible. First night I had the chance to see live Sinead Harnett, James Bay and Charli XCX. The second night Saint Raymond, Years & Years and Clean Bandit.
Charli XCX made a perfect show, this girl is crazy and she knows how to make a party. Years & Years were amazing and James Bay's songs went straight into the heart. MTV Brand New I just loved you so much. And now see the pictures.

Take care!
